SofaPlay allows you to play media files directly from your Mac on the tv. It connects your Mac to your Smart TV and takes care of the streaming. Just drag any movie file onto SofaPlay and it will appear instantly on the big screen in front of you. SofaPlay streams your video wirelessly to your TV.
No configuration needed, no hassle. Just drag and drop.
Your Mac is completely controlling and managing your TV and taking care of the streaming. Just lean back on your sofa, get some pop-corn and enjoy a movie, or two.
IMPORTANT: SofaPlay is working with devices, which are supporting the UPnP/DLNA Digital Media Renderer standard. Fortunately, most of the new TVs are working with SofaPlay. Also, there are a few supported Blu-Ray Players. If your device has a network connection (wireless or wired), there is a great chance it is supported.

Nice looking, but not easy to use
The app looks better than “Play on TV”.
Searching TV is obviously slower than the app "Play on TV", sometimes it seems never find a TV. Not easy to use.
And the price is high than the app "Play on TV";
And do not support audio track selecting function.
Looking forward to upgrade.

很实用的一款软件，基本涵盖所有格式，连接电视迅速稳定，看电视剧还可以顺序连播，播放时电视遥控器直接遥控即可。不可多得的好软件。
不能很好支持MKV1080P
很卡，一快进就挂，心碎。
It is not good with play mkv(1080p) files on TV.Always jammed and crashed.Hope the APP developer could fix this problem ,thanks!
